Headquartered in Valley Stream, New York, 5 minutes outside of JFK, Triangle Aviation Ground Handling organization has been committed to customer satisfaction and family values since 1960. Family-owned led by Lonnie & Perry Fine, Triangle has more than 60 years in the Aviation ground handling business and currently serves airlines from MA to FL. Triangle Aviation specializes in passenger services, ramp services, cabin cleaning, GSE fueling, load planning, baggage transfer, skycap services and more. Triangle has been ISAGO certified since 2014.

Triangle Aviation Services is committed to providing passengers with a unique, enjoyable and memorable travel experience. Our experienced teams assist passengers with flight check-in, ticketing, baggage services, lost and found, meet and assist services, unaccompanied minors and assisting persons with reduced mobility. We continuously train and improve employee skills to provide the best customer service and communication to greatly enhance every step of the passenger journey.

Passenger Mobility

Triangle Services sets a high priority for passengers requiring physical assistance while navigating the airport. Friendly, specially trained staff will provide wheelchair or electric cart assistance and accompany/assist persons with reduced mobility:

  • From terminal entrance (or vehicle drop-off point) to the gate location where your flight is departing, including the security checkpoint, and onto the aircraft to your seat; and
  • From your aircraft seat on an arriving flight through the airport to the gate location of your connecting flight (if you have a connection); and
  • From the gate location of your connecting flight to your seat on the aircraft; and
  • From your aircraft seat on an arriving flight through the airport to the baggage claim area, terminal entrance, or vehicle pick-up location.

Our friendly and professional staff exceed expectations with both our customer service and behind-the-scenes baggage movement and delivery. The Triangle Services highly qualified ramp services team uses modernized ground services equipment ensuring the highest level for safe and efficient baggage handling. Our experience allows us to provide quality on-time baggage handling with an approach to safety and continued care of passenger bags. Working as the airline’s partner, our baggage transfer services ensure all luggage is safely transferred on time to connecting flights and arriving passengers.

Our Team

Lonnie Fine

Chief Executive Officer

Lonnie Fine has nearly 40 years of experience in facilities and aviation support services. Lonnie has worked for Triangle Services since 1974, and spent a sustained period performing various functions in both facilities and aviation support roles. From 1981, Lonnie worked in various aviation positions from General Manager, and was later promoted in 1990 to the President of Aviation Division. In 1993, he was appointed as Chief Operating Officer of Triangle Services and, later, became Chief Executive Officer in 1998. Lonnie is a member of the Young Presidents Organization (YPO) and the International Air Transport Association (IATA) Ground Handling Council. Lonnie earned his Business Degree from the American University.


Tom Knowles

Sr. VP of Operations

Tom Knowles is Triangle Services’ Senior Vice President for the Aviation Division, based at Orlando International Airport. A native of South Florida, Tom started his aviation career with 8 years in the US Army. After the military, he transitioned to a position with Delta Air Lines Global Services. His tenure included all positions from Station Manager to Regional Vice President before joining Triangle Services. Tom earned a BS degree in Professional Aeronautics from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University and is an FAA licensed Aircraft Dispatcher.


Jud Woodings

Corporate Director of Health and Safety

Judson Wooding is the Corporate Director of Health & Safety for Triangle Services, Inc. Based in Florida, his primary functions include the development and implementation of safety policies and procedures, compliance with corporate, federal, state, local, client and ISAGO safety requirements, as well as development and implementation of the employee safety training program. Jud served 6 years with the US Navy and began his career as a Nuclear Reactor Operator (Electronics Technician), aboard the aircraft carrier, USS Enterprise (CVN-65). He was hired by Triangle Services following his naval service and has served our company as a facility engineer (electrical), Regional Manager, and starting in 2006, as the corporate Director of Health & Safety. During his tenure as the Director of Safety, he has earned multiple certifications from OSHA, IATA and ICAO. Jud earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Electronics from Indiana State University.


Laura Carmona

Director of Stations Southeast

Laura Carmona is Triangle Services’ Director of Stations for the Aviation Division Southern Region, based out of Miami International Airport. Laura was born in Colombia and grew up in New York. She has worked in the aviation industry for a total of 39 years. Laura began her career in aviation as a Passenger Service Agent with Air Lingus at JFK. Later on, she gained additional experience with TACA Airlines. Of her nearly four-decade career in aviation, she has spent more than 20 years with Triangle as a valued member of our aviation division.


Mike Philbin

Director of Stations, Northeast

Michael Philbin is the Director of Stations, Northeast Region, based out of John F. Kennedy International Airport. A native of Long Island, New York, Michael has worked in the aviation industry for 43 years. He began his aviation career as an Aircraft Cleaner with Pan American Airways and furthered his work experience at Delta Airlines. Michael has been with Triangle Services for 13 years as a valued member of the aviation division.
